The Coastal Resilience Short Course has run since 2013, with contributions over successive editions from universities, coastal consultancies, state agencies and councils. Over 600 practitioners from every Australian state and territory, New Zealand and the Pacific have attended, and editions have run in Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam and Chile.
Two levels, each three days with a full day in the field. Foundations gives a first integrated grounding in coastal processes, hazards, risk, planning and adaptation. Advanced Applications develops methods for experienced practitioners working with coastal evidence and management problems. Join in person for the full experience, including the coastal field day, or attend the classroom sessions by live stream.
