Built by practitioners,
for practitioners.
Apter designs premium professional development for people working where knowledge, technology and real-world decisions come together.

Our approach
Apter designs premium professional development programmes for professionals working where knowledge, technology, and real-world decisions come together.
Built on deep experience across applied research, government practice, consulting, and professional teaching, Apter brings practical expertise and real decision-making context into the room.
Every programme is built around the decisions participants face. Participants leave with work they can use.

Founder
Dr Marcello Sano
Founder
Marcello Sano founded Apter after a career across coastal and climate resilience in government, consulting, applied research and university teaching. He holds a PhD and has worked on coastal hazard, adaptation and emergency-decision problems in Australia, the Pacific and Europe.
His research now sits where machine learning and artificial intelligence meet coastal, climate and emergency decisions. Every Apter programme is built the same way: real places, real decisions, and work you can use when you get back.
